We are currently hiring a full-time cashier for our busy retail store in Akron. As a cashier, you will be responsible for processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and providing excellent customer service at all times.

Responsibilities:
- Process customer transactions including cash, credit card, and gift card payments
- Accurately count and balance cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift
- Ensure prices and product information is accurate on all items
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Greet customers with a friendly attitude and provide exceptional customer service
- Assist with stocking shelves and organizing merchandise when needed

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a cashier or in customer service preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with customers in a professional manner
- Basic math skills and proficiency in operating a cash register
- Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed
