Preservation Architect
As a Preservation Architect in Lisbon, you will play a crucial role in preserving the city's architectural heritage. You will be responsible for assessing the condition of historic buildings and developing preservation plans to ensure their longevity. Your duties will include conducting site visits, documenting existing conditions, researching historic building techniques and materials, and collaborating with engineers and contractors to implement preservation projects.
In addition to technical expertise, this role requires strong project management skills as you will be responsible for overseeing the entire preservation process from initial assessment to project completion. You must also have excellent communication skills as you will be working closely with clients, stakeholders, and government agencies to ensure compliance with historic preservation regulations.
The ideal candidate for this position will have a degree in Architecture or Historic Preservation and at least 3 years of experience in the field. You must possess a deep understanding of architectural history and preservation principles, as well as knowledge of relevant laws and regulations. Proficiency in AutoCAD or other drafting software is also required.
This position offers a competitive salary of $1000 per month with visa sponsorship available for non-EU candidates.
