Excavator Operator in Mombasa, Kenya


We are searching for an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team in Mombasa, Kenya. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment and machinery to excavate, move, and grade earth or other materials. You will work on various construction projects, such as road building, excavation, and site preparation.

Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain excavators in a safe and efficient manner
- Read and understand blueprints and plans to determine the location of underground utilities and other structures
- Operate excavators to dig trenches, ditches, or foundations according to specifications
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment as needed
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations at all times
- Coordinate with other team members to complete projects efficiently

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating excavators in a construction setting
- Valid Excavator Operator certification/license preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and plans accurately
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and safety precautions

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1100 per month for this position.

Location:
This job is located in Mombasa, Kenya. Kenyan nationals are preferred but candidates from other nationalities are also welcome to apply.
