A reputable construction company in Mombasa is seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team. This is a contract position with a salary of $1300 per month. We are looking for someone who is physically fit and able to operate heavy machinery with precision and skill. No previous experience is required for this role, but candidates must have a valid work visa and be willing to provide their own accommodations. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate excavator according to project specifications and safety guidelines
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment
- Communicate with ground crew and other operators to ensure safe and efficient operations
- Follow all safety protocols on job site
- Keep accurate records of daily operations, including materials moved, hours worked, etc.
- Report any issues or malfunctions with equipment immediately
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work area

Requirements:
- Must be physically fit and able to operate heavy machinery for extended periods of time
- Valid work visa for Mombasa, Kenya
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members
- Attention to detail and strong focus on safety protocols
- Ability to adapt to changing project needs
- Willingness to provide own accommodations while working in Mombasa

Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience operating excavators or other heavy machinery preferred but not required

Working Conditions:
This is a contract position located in Mombasa, Kenya. The job may require working long hours, including evenings and weekends, depending on project needs. The candidate must be willing to work in various weather conditions.
