Power Engineer

A leading power company in Eldoret is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Power Engineer to join our team. As a Power Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining power systems and equipment. You will also be involved in troubleshooting and repairing any issues that may arise with the power systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Designing, developing and maintaining power systems and equipment
- Conducting routine maintenance checks on power systems
- Troubleshooting and repairing any issues with power systems
- Collaborating with other engineers to improve existing power system designs
- Ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations
- Providing technical support to other departments as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Strong knowledge of power engineering principles
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience working with generators, transformers, and other electrical equipment is an advantage
