DevOps Developer



We are seeking a skilled and experienced DevOps Developer to join our dynamic team in Almada. As a DevOps Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the infrastructure, tools, and processes that enable our team to deliver high-quality software products.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automated build, deployment, and release pipelines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain reliable and scalable infrastructure
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure, build pipelines, and deployments
- Continuously evaluate and implement new technologies to improve efficiency and productivity
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential issues
- Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role
- Strong experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet or Chef
- Proficient in scripting languages such as Bash, Python or Ruby
- Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Azure DevOps or other CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD
- Knowledge of database administration (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- Familiarity with software development methodologies (e.g. Agile)
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus or Grafana

We offer a competitive salary of 1600$ per month for this full-time position. This is an on-site role; therefore accommodation will not be provided. However, we welcome applicants from all nationalities who have the appropriate visa to work in Almada.
