A 5-star hotel located in the beautiful city of Faro, Portugal is seeking a skilled and experienced Seasonal Restaurant Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our hotel restaurant, ensuring exceptional service and guest satisfaction. This is a seasonal position with visa sponsorship available.

As our Seasonal Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of servers, hosts, and other restaurant staff. You will be involved in all aspects of the restaurant's operations, from menu planning and budgeting to staff training and performance management. Your main goal will be to provide an unforgettable dining experience for our guests while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role in a fast-paced environment. A strong background in food and beverage service is required. You must have excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide your team towards achieving goals. Fluency in English is essential, and knowledge of Portuguese would be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the restaurant
- Ensure guest satisfaction through exceptional service
- Manage restaurant staff including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Create and maintain menus according to seasonal availability
- Control costs by monitoring expenses and implementing cost-saving measures
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
- Handle guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally
- Collaborate with other departments such as kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
- Report to upper management on restaurant performance

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage service standards
- Budgeting skills with attention to detail on cost control
- Customer-oriented with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Fluent in English, knowledge of Portuguese is an advantage
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
