Our bakery in Bungoma is seeking a skilled Baker to join our team. This is a contract position with a salary of 1600$ per month. As an English speaking bakery, we welcome non-native speakers to apply. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in baking and must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for someone who is passionate about creating delicious baked goods and has a keen eye for detail. This is an urgent job opening, so we are seeking candidates who can start immediately.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake various types of bread, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods according to recipes
- Ensure quality control by following proper measurements and techniques
- Monitor oven temperatures and baking times to ensure consistent quality
- Decorate cakes and pastries as per customer requests
- Keep work area clean and organized at all times
- Order supplies as needed and maintain inventory levels
- Train new bakery staff on baking techniques and procedures

Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience as a Baker in a professional kitchen or bakery
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
- Knowledge of various baking techniques and methods
- Creativity in decorating baked goods
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time

Preferred:
- Experience working with sourdough or artisanal breads
- Certification or degree in culinary arts or pastry making
