Instrument Technician for Biometric Passport Production in Al-Rayyan, Qatar

We are hiring a skilled Instrument Technician to join our team in Al-Rayyan, Qatar. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing specialized equipment used in the production of biometric passports. This includes troubleshooting and diagnosing issues, performing regular maintenance tasks, and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly to meet production demands.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on instruments and equipment used in passport production.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose any malfunctions or issues with instruments.
- Perform repairs on instruments as needed.
- Coordinate with other technicians and engineers to ensure smooth operation of equipment.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance and repair tasks performed.
- Monitor inventory levels and order replacement parts as needed.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest technology and techniques related to instrument maintenance.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years experience as an Instrument Technician, preferably in a production environment.
- Knowledge of electronic circuits, diagnostic tools, and technical manuals.
- Familiarity with biometric technology is a plus.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team.

Salary: 1800$ per month
