Executive Chef
The Executive Chef will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and supervising kitchen staff. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating delicious and visually appealing dishes, as well as a strong understanding of culinary techniques and ingredients. They must also have excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage and motivate their team.
Responsibilities:
- Create menus that are both innovative and appealing to customers
- Oversee food preparation and ensure high quality standards are met
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
- Train, supervise, and schedule kitchen staff
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Collaborate with management to develop new menu items or special dishes for events
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Monitor food costs and make adjustments as needed to maintain profitability
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience in a professional kitchen
- Extensive knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and flavors
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a team
- Excellent time-management abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Creative thinking with the ability to develop new dishes
Salary: 1000$ per month
Location: Plovdiv, Bulgaria (open to candidates from all nationalities)
