Shaper for Woodworking Company in Bungoma

Our woodworking company in Bungoma is seeking a skilled and experienced Shaper to join our team. As a Shaper, you will be responsible for shaping and cutting wood pieces according to specific measurements and designs. This is a full-time position, open to both Indian and foreign candidates with proficiency in English.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain shaping machines such as planers, routers, and lathes
- Read and interpret blueprints or design plans to determine proper shaping techniques
- Use hand tools such as chisels, saws, and sanders for detailed shaping work
- Ensure all wood pieces meet quality standards and are cut to precise measurements
- Collaborate with other team members to complete orders on time
- Keep work area clean and organized

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training or apprenticeship in woodworking preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Shaper in a woodworking company
- Proficiency in operating various shaping machines and hand tools
- Ability to read blueprints and design plans accurately
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Physically fit with the ability to stand for long periods of time, bend, lift heavy objects, etc.
- Biometric passport for easy travel across borders if needed
