As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical buildings and structures in the city of Funchal. You will use your expertise in architecture, construction, and preservation techniques to ensure that these structures maintain their historical integrity and cultural significance. Your role will involve conducting research, creating preservation plans, overseeing restoration projects, and collaborating with other professionals such as engineers and contractors. You should have a deep understanding of architectural history and knowledge of local building codes and regulations. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in architectural preservation, a biometric passport, and the ability to work without accommodation. This position is open to all genders.
