Entry-Level Instrument Technician in Faro, Portugal

We are hiring an entry-level Instrument Technician to join our team in Faro. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various instruments and equipment used in industrial settings. This is a contract position without accommodation provided, so candidates must be able to work and live in Faro without company-provided housing. Biometric passport is required for security clearance.

Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in instrumentation or related field
- Knowledge of electronic and mechanical principles
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
- Physically fit and able to work at heights and in confined spaces
- Valid biometric passport

Responsibilities:
- Install, calibrate, maintain, and repair instrumentation equipment such as sensors, transmitters, control valves, etc.
- Troubleshoot issues with instruments using various testing equipment
- Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to ensure proper functioning of instruments
- Document all maintenance activities and report any issues or malfunctions
- Follow safety protocols at all times while working on-site

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is 1700$ per month.
