Excavator Operator

We are hiring an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team in Bungoma. In this role, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to excavate and move materials in a safe and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as an Excavator Operator and possess a valid operator's license. You must also have excellent hand-eye coordination, physical dexterity, and the ability to work in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities:
- Operate excavators to dig trenches, foundations, and other construction sites
- Move materials such as dirt, rocks, and debris using the excavator's bucket or other attachments
- Conduct routine maintenance on the excavator to ensure proper functioning
- Follow safety protocols and regulations at all times
- Communicate with other team members to coordinate tasks and ensure efficiency
- Keep accurate records of daily activities and materials used

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid operator's license for heavy machinery
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Excavator Operator
- Physical ability to operate heavy machinery for extended periods of time
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions
- Strong communication skills
- Attention to detail

Preferred:
- Experience with different types of excavators
- Additional training or certifications related to operating heavy machinery
