Accountant for Indian Nationals in Bungoma
We are hiring an experienced Accountant for our company in Bungoma. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records and preparing reports for our organization. You should have a strong understanding of accounting principles and be able to analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to improve efficiency and profitability
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Prepare tax returns and assist with audits
- Monitor cash flow and manage budgeting processes
- Collaborate with other departments to support business operations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in accounting or related field
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Quickbooks preferred)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills (English proficiency required)
- Indian nationality preferred
