Housekeeping Supervisor

As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department in our hotel located in Atlanta. You will supervise a team of housekeepers and ensure that all guest rooms and public areas are clean, well-maintained, and up to standard. Your role will also involve training new staff members, creating work schedules, and maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies.

To excel in this role, you should have previous experience working as a housekeeper or in a similar supervisory position. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, while additional education or training in hospitality management is preferred. You must have excellent communication skills and be able to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department
- Train new staff members on cleaning procedures and company standards
- Create work schedules for housekeeping staff
- Ensure that all guest rooms and public areas are clean and well-maintained
- Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and place orders when necessary
- Address any guest complaints or issues regarding cleanliness promptly
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality standards are met
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to maintain overall cleanliness and guest satisfaction

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (additional education in hospitality management preferred)
- Previous experience as a housekeeper or in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry
- Excellent communication skills (English proficiency required)
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Knowledge of basic cleaning techniques and equipment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to create schedules and manage inventory effectively

Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position with a salary of $1600 per month. The working hours may vary depending on hotel occupancy rates but will generally include weekends and evenings. This job does not include accommodation; therefore, candidates must have their own visa for working in the United States.
