Part-Time Construction Manager
As a part-time Construction Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects in Almada. You will work closely with contractors, engineers, and architects to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of construction processes and the ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee construction projects in Almada
- Communicate with contractors, engineers, and architects to ensure project requirements are met
- Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to meet deadlines
- Manage project budget and ensure cost-effective solutions are implemented
- Ensure site safety regulations are followed at all times
- Address any issues or delays that may arise during construction
- Maintain accurate project documentation and reports
Requirements:
- Previous experience in construction management or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks
- Biometric passport for travel within the EU
- Fluent in Portuguese (both written and spoken)
Preferred:
- Experience working on projects in Almada or Portugal
- Familiarity with local building regulations
- Degree in Construction Management or related field
