Job Title: Construction Manager
As a Construction Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of construction projects in Almada. Your role will involve planning, coordinating, and supervising the construction process from start to finish. This includes managing budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure projects are completed efficiently and within specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards
- Monitor progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders
- Resolve any issues or delays that arise during the construction process
- Manage project budgets and make adjustments as necessary
- Hire and supervise construction workers and subcontractors
- Ensure proper maintenance of equipment and tools on site
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work is being done according to plan
- Communicate effectively with all team members to ensure a smooth workflow
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Construction Manager or similar role in the construction industry
- Excellent knowledge of building processes, regulations, and best practices
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Fluency in English (knowledge of Portuguese is an advantage)
