Entry-Level Mason


We are seeking an entry-level Mason to join our team in Almada. As a Mason, you will be responsible for constructing and repairing structures using a variety of materials such as brick, concrete, and stone. This is a contract position with a salary of $900 per month and includes accommodation.

Responsibilities:
- Read blueprints and specifications to determine the layout of structures
- Measure and cut materials to the required size
- Lay out patterns or foundations using tools and equipment such as levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges
- Mix cement, sand, and water to create mortar or grout for building purposes
- Lay bricks or other masonry units in courses according to plans
- Repair or replace damaged bricks, blocks, or stones
- Clean and maintain tools and equipment used on the job site

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in masonry preferred but not required
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
- Familiarity with construction tools and equipment
- Physical strength and stamina to perform tasks such as lifting heavy materials
- Attention to detail for precise measurements
- Ability to work well in a team environment
