Mason for Contract Position in Jerusalem


We are hiring a skilled Mason to work on a contract basis in Jerusalem. As a Mason, you will be responsible for constructing and repairing structures using various types of materials including brick, stone, and concrete. You will also be expected to read blueprints and follow building codes and safety regulations.

To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience as a Mason and the ability to work independently. This is a contract position with the possibility of extension, offering a salary of 1300$ per month. Accommodation will also be provided.

Responsibilities:
- Construct and repair structures such as walls, floors, chimneys, and arches
- Lay out patterns or foundations using measuring tools
- Mix mortar or grout according to specifications
- Read blueprints and follow building codes and safety regulations
- Operate various tools including trowels, chisels, levels, and power saws
- Repair or replace damaged bricks or stones
- Clean up work area after completing projects

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Mason
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong knowledge of construction materials and techniques
- Ability to read blueprints and understand building codes
- Physical stamina to handle heavy materials and work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Attention to detail with excellent hand-eye coordination

Preferred:
- Experience working on historic buildings or restoration projects
- Certification in masonry or related field
