Barista - Indian Cuisine Specialist


We are seeking a skilled Barista with a passion for Indian cuisine to join our team in Mauren. As our Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of authentic Indian beverages, including chai teas, lassis, and traditional coffee drinks. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a Barista and be familiar with the unique flavors and ingredients used in Indian cuisine. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including chai teas, lassis, and traditional coffee drinks
- Maintain knowledge of all menu items to ensure accurate preparation and presentation
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and handling payments
- Monitor inventory levels and restock supplies as needed
- Keep work area clean and sanitized according to health codes
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Continuously learn about new beverage trends in the industry

Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Barista or in the food/beverage industry
- Knowledge of Indian cuisine and familiarity with ingredients used in traditional beverages
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills in English (additional language skills are a plus)
- Must have the legal right to work in Mauren without visa sponsorship or accommodation provided

Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent (college education preferred)
- Previous barista training or certification is an asset

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1000 per month. Salary will be reviewed after 3 months based on performance.
