Database Administrator (Indian candidates preferred)
Location: Los Angeles, USA
Salary: $1800/month


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Database Administrator to join our team in Los Angeles. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for the performance, integrity and security of our company's databases. You will also be involved in planning and development of new databases, as well as maintaining and upgrading existing ones.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor database performance and capacity, making necessary adjustments to ensure efficient operation.
- Troubleshoot database issues and provide solutions in a timely manner.
- Implement data security measures to protect sensitive information.
- Develop and maintain database backup and recovery procedures.
- Collaborate with other teams to design, develop and implement new databases.
- Continuously review and optimize database processes for maximum efficiency.
- Provide technical support to end users on database-related issues.

Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Database Administrator or similar role.
- Excellent knowledge of database management systems (MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server etc.).
- Experience with data backup, recovery, security and integrity.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as SQL, Java or Python is an asset.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical team members.
