Reference Librarian

As a Reference Librarian for our library in Remish, you will be responsible for providing reference and research services to library users. You will assist patrons in finding and accessing information resources, both physical and digital. Your main duties will include answering reference questions, conducting research, and assisting with information literacy instruction. You must have excellent communication skills and be able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities:
- Provide reference services to library patrons, including answering reference questions and conducting research
- Assist patrons in locating and accessing information resources, both physical and digital
- Develop and maintain a collection of reference materials to support the needs of library users
- Participate in the development and delivery of information literacy instruction programs
- Stay current with new technologies and resources in the field of librarianship
- Collaborate with other librarians to develop and implement new services for library users

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Library Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience working as a librarian or in a similar role
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong knowledge of reference sources and research techniques
- Familiarity with library systems, databases, and technologies
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary:
This is a contract position offering a salary of $1000 per month.

Location:
This job is located in Remish, India. Preference will be given to Indian candidates with English language proficiency.
