Glazier for High-End Glass Installation in Alta, Norway


We are in search of an experienced Glazier to join our team in Alta, Norway. Our company specializes in high-end glass installations for residential and commercial properties. As a Glazier, you will be responsible for measuring, cutting, and installing glass for various projects. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a high level of craftsmanship.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut glass to fit specific dimensions and designs
- Install glass panels using proper techniques and materials
- Repair or replace damaged or broken glass as needed
- Work with a variety of glass types including tempered, laminated, and insulated
- Interpret blueprints or technical drawings to determine project requirements
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed at all times
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Glazier or similar role
- Extensive knowledge of various types of glass and their properties
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Strong mathematical skills for accurate measurements and calculations
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Physical stamina to stand, lift, bend, and climb for extended periods of time

Preferred Qualifications:
- Trade school or apprenticeship in Glass Installation or related field
- Experience working on high-end projects with custom designs
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations
- Bilingual proficiency in Norwegian

Salary: 1200$ per week (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Alta, Norway (preference for Norwegian citizens or those with valid work permits)
