Job Title: Office Assistant - Doha, Qatar
We are currently hiring an Office Assistant to join our team in Doha, Qatar. As an Office Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support and assisting with various tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of our office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors, answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate person or department
- Maintain office supplies and equipment inventory, order new supplies when needed
- Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages
- Organize and maintain filing systems, both physical and electronic
- Schedule meetings and appointments, coordinate travel arrangements for staff
- Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks such as data entry, invoicing, and expense reports
- Perform general clerical duties such as photocopying, scanning, and filing documents
- Keep track of office expenses and handle petty cash transactions
- Assist in planning company events or meetings as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Proven experience as an Office Assistant or similar role preferred but not required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Professional demeanor with good customer service skills
