Turner - Metal Machinist

- Proficiency in operating different types of metalworking machinery
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

- Strong problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of safety procedures in a manufacturing setting

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate metalworking machinery according to specifications
- Read technical drawings to determine the correct dimensions and tolerances for parts
- Use precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy of finished parts
- Monitor machines during operation and make necessary adjustments as needed
- Inspect finished parts for defects or imperfections and make corrections as needed
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure their proper functioning
- Follow safety procedures at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
