Our restaurant in Beer-Sheva, Israel is seeking an experienced and talented Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations, including menu creation, food preparation, and inventory management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and update menus that align with our restaurant's concept and vision
- Oversee all food purchases and ensure that high-quality ingredients are used
- Manage food costs and maintain budget targets
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure food is prepared to the highest standards
- Create new recipes and make adjustments to existing ones based on customer feedback
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment at all times
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for necessary supplies in a timely manner
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Culinary degree or equivalent training preferred
- Extensive knowledge of various cuisines, cooking techniques, and flavor profiles
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Excellent time management skills to meet tight deadlines
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations while maintaining quality standards
- Attention to detail in menu creation, food presentation, and plating
- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills
