Construction Manager - Shan, Philippines

We are searching for a highly skilled and experienced Construction Manager to oversee our construction projects in Shan, Philippines. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the construction process, from planning and budgeting to overseeing on-site operations and ensuring quality control. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management with excellent leadership and project management skills.

Responsibilities:
- Develop project plans and schedules, and oversee their implementation
- Monitor project progress and ensure that it is completed on time and within budget
- Manage resources effectively to ensure efficient use of manpower, materials, and equipment
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project specifications are met
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and quality control measures
- Provide guidance and support to on-site teams to resolve any issues or delays in the construction process
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and subcontractors as needed
- Prepare progress reports for clients or senior management as required

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Proven experience as a Construction Manager in a similar role
- Knowledge of construction processes, techniques, materials, and equipment
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams towards successful project completion
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders
- Proficient in using computer software such as AutoCAD or MS Project
- Willingness to work long hours when necessary
- Ability to effectively handle pressure in a fast-paced environment

Salary: 1200$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: This position is based in Shan, Philippines. Local candidates are preferred but applicants from other cities/countries will also be considered.

Note: This job does not require fluency in English. However, basic English proficiency is preferred. Accommodation will not be provided for this position.
