Web Designer (Contract) - Porto, Portugal

As a contract web designer in our fast-paced and dynamic company, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and user-friendly websites. You will work closely with our development team to ensure that the design is implemented accurately. Your primary focus will be on the layout, color scheme, and overall look and feel of the website. You should have a strong understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory. Excellent communication skills are also essential as you will be collaborating with various teams to bring projects to completion.

Responsibilities:
- Designing engaging and user-friendly websites that align with client needs
- Collaborating with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs
- Creating wireframes and mockups to present to clients
- Selecting color schemes, fonts, images, and other visual elements for websites
- Conducting research on current design trends to stay updated and incorporate new ideas into designs
- Communicating effectively with team members and clients throughout the design process
- Making necessary adjustments based on feedback from clients or team members

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a web designer or similar role
- Strong portfolio showcasing previous website designs
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related field is preferred

Salary: $1700 per month (based on experience)

Location: This is an in-office position located in Porto, Portugal. Remote work may be considered for exceptional candidates.
