Formworker



As a Formworker, you will be responsible for constructing and assembling various types of formwork used in concrete construction. This includes creating molds and frameworks for concrete structures such as walls, columns, slabs, and beams. Your duties will also include measuring and cutting materials, tying rebar, and pouring concrete into the forms.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in formwork construction
- Strong knowledge of construction techniques and safety procedures
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials
- Attention to detail and accuracy in measurements
- Good communication skills

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret construction plans to determine formwork dimensions and materials needed
- Measure and cut materials such as wood, steel, or plastic to create formwork templates
- Assemble formwork components using hand tools or power tools
- Secure formwork in place using nails, bolts, or screws
- Tie rebar according to specifications to reinforce concrete structures
- Pour concrete into forms using wheelbarrows or pumps
- Smooth out concrete surfaces using trowels or screeds
- Remove formwork once the concrete has set
- Clean and maintain all tools and equipment used in the construction process

Salary: $1800 per month
