Construction Manager

We are a leading construction company based in Eldoret, seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction project management, with experience overseeing various types of projects from start to finish. The role will involve managing a team of engineers and contractors, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget, and maintaining high quality standards.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee all phases of construction projects, from planning to completion
- Develop project timelines and budgets, and monitor progress to ensure adherence
- Manage a team of engineers and contractors, delegating tasks and providing guidance as needed
- Review project plans and specifications to ensure compliance with regulations and client requirements
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve any issues or conflicts that arise, and ensure work is being completed safely
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure necessary materials and services for projects
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates on project status and addressing any concerns or requests
- Maintain high quality standards throughout the construction process, conducting inspections as needed
- Ensure all necessary permits and licenses are obtained for each project

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, equipment, and regulations
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Exceptional organization skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills in English (Malayalam proficiency preferred)
- Experience working on contract jobs is preferred but not required
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing situations
- Willingness to travel as needed for site visits
