Senior Electrical Engineer - Malindi, Kenya


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team in Malindi, Kenya. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of electrical design and installation projects. This is a contract position with a salary of 1200$ per month.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough analysis and assessment of project requirements, including budget, timeline, resources and technical specifications
- Design electrical systems for various projects, ensuring compliance with local codes and standards
- Develop plans, specifications and drawings for electrical installations
- Oversee the installation and commissioning of electrical systems on site
- Manage a team of engineers and technicians to ensure timely completion of projects
- Conduct regular inspections and quality control checks to ensure adherence to project plans and safety regulations
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate project activities and resolve any issues that may arise
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, technologies and best practices in order to continuously improve processes

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in electrical design and installation projects
- Experience working on large-scale projects preferred
- Strong knowledge of local electrical codes and standards
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Solid understanding of project management principles
- Ability to work independently under minimal supervision
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Fluent in English
