Finishing Technician

As a Finishing Technician, you will be responsible for applying the final touches to our products to ensure they meet our high standards of quality. This role will require attention to detail and a strong understanding of finishing techniques such as sanding, painting, and staining. You will work closely with our production team to ensure that all products are completed in a timely manner, while maintaining a high level of craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform finishing techniques such as sanding, painting, and staining on various products
- Inspect finished products for quality and make any necessary touch-ups or adjustments
- Work with production team to prioritize and complete orders in a timely manner
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
- Communicate any issues or concerns with production team or management
- Continuously improve finishing techniques through training and experimentation
- Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in finish work preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions carefully
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical stamina for standing, bending, and lifting up to 50lbs
- Fluent in English (additional language skills are a plus)
- Able to legally work in Akron with visa sponsorship if needed

Compensation:
This is an entry-level position with a starting salary of $1200 per month. We also offer accommodation for non-local candidates and visa sponsorship if needed.
