Merchandiser for Malayalees in Bungoma, Egypt


We are hiring a skilled Merchandiser to join our team in Bungoma, Egypt. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products are displayed attractively and effectively to maximize sales. You will also be responsible for monitoring inventory levels, identifying trends and making recommendations for product placement and promotions.

To be successful in this role, you must have experience as a Merchandiser and be knowledgeable about market trends and customer preferences. Fluency in Malayalam and English is preferred but not required. Accommodation will not be provided, so local candidates or those able to secure their own housing are preferred.

Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the sales team to develop effective merchandising strategies
- Monitor product inventory levels and make recommendations for restocking
- Conduct market research to identify current trends and customer preferences
- Ensure that products are properly displayed with appropriate pricing and signage
- Make recommendations for product placement based on sales data
- Create attractive displays to entice customers to purchase products
- Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate favorable pricing and terms
- Train new employees on merchandising techniques and company procedures

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Merchandiser or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of market trends and customer preferences
- Strong communication skills in Malayalam (English is preferred)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
