Junior Accountant



We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our growing financial team in Faro. As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting senior accountants with daily tasks such as recording transactions, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial reports. This is an entry-level position ideal for recent graduates or individuals with no prior accounting experience.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with recording and organizing financial transactions
- Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Prepare financial reports and statements
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure accuracy of data

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting
- Excellent communication skills

Salary:
This is a full-time position offering a salary of $1800 per month.

Location:
This position is based in Faro, Portugal. Applicants must have the legal right to work in Portugal.
