Librarian - Full Time


The Sofia Public Library is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Librarian to join our team. As the Librarian, you will be responsible for managing the library's collection, assisting patrons with finding resources, and providing guidance and support for research projects. This is a full-time position that offers a salary of $1200 per month with benefits.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the library's collection, including cataloging, shelving, and weeding
- Assist patrons with locating materials and answering reference questions
- Provide guidance and support for research projects, including helping patrons use databases and other resources
- Plan and implement programs and events for library patrons
- Maintain the library's online presence through social media and website updates
- Collaborate with other librarians to develop new services and improve existing ones

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work well with diverse groups of people
- Familiarity with library systems, databases, and other research tools
- Previous experience working in a library is preferred but not required

Location:
This position is located at the Sofia Public Library in Sofia, Bulgaria. Preference will be given to Indian applicants who are fluent in English.

Salary & Benefits:
The salary for this full-time position is $1200 per month. In addition to salary, benefits include health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional development.
