Part-Time Metal Worker in Braga (with Accommodation)


We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Metal Worker to join our team on a part-time basis in Braga. As a Metal Worker, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal structures and equipment according to specifications. This position offers a competitive salary of 1500$ per month and includes accommodation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine job requirements
- Measure, cut, shape, and join metal parts using welding equipment or other tools
- Operate various machines such as shears, brakes, grinders, and drills to fabricate metal products
- Repair damaged metal structures or equipment by welding, bolting or riveting pieces together
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times

Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Metal Worker or similar role
- Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong knowledge of different welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Arc)
- Familiarity with various hand tools such as grinders, shears, drills etc.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as in a team environment
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.)
- Must be able to work on your feet for extended periods of time
