Merchandiser (Indian Nationals) in Salalah
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Merchandiser to join our team in Salalah. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for planning and implementing effective merchandising strategies to increase sales and profitability. The ideal candidate will have experience in the retail industry, strong analytical skills, and a keen eye for trends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute merchandising plans for assigned product categories
- Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for stock replenishment
- Conduct regular store visits to ensure proper product placement and display
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and make adjustments to merchandising strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, purchasing, and sales to develop effective promotions and product launches
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitors' activities to inform merchandising decisions
Requirements:
- Indian nationality preferred
- Experience in retail merchandising or related field
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Salary: 1200$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Salalah, Oman
Type of Employment: Part-time with potential for full-time
