Entry-Level Turner

As an entry-level turner, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining lathes and other machinery used in metalworking. Your main duties will include using blueprints to determine the specifications of a project, selecting appropriate tools and materials, adjusting machine settings, and monitoring the production process to ensure accuracy and efficiency. You will also be expected to troubleshoot any issues that arise during production and perform routine maintenance on machines.

To excel in this role, you should have a basic understanding of metalworking principles and be comfortable working with various hand and power tools. You must also have strong attention to detail, good manual dexterity, and the ability to follow precise instructions. Previous experience in a related field is not required but may be beneficial.
