Executive Chef (Porto, Portugal)
We are seeking a talented and experienced Executive Chef to join our team in Porto, Portugal. As the head of our culinary department, you will be responsible for creating and executing menus, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring the highest quality of food and service for our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement menus that align with our brand and customer preferences
- Oversee kitchen staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling
- Monitor food quality and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Manage inventory and control costs to maintain budget goals
- Collaborate with other departments to plan special events or promotions
- Stay current on industry trends and incorporate new techniques or ingredients into menu offerings
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant or hotel setting
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
- Experience with menu development and cost control
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Salary: 1600$ per month
This is an urgent job opportunity with free visa sponsorship and flight ticket provided for the right candidate. As this position does not include accommodation, we prefer candidates who are currently living in or willing to relocate to Porto.
