Part-Time Executive Chef
We are seeking a skilled and creative Executive Chef to join our team on a part-time basis in Porto. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, delicious meals to our customers. This role requires strong leadership skills, as well as a passion for food and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and create menus that are both innovative and cost-effective
- Oversee daily operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Train and manage kitchen staff, ensuring high levels of productivity and efficiency
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for ingredients as needed
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen area
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operation during events or busy periods
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and maintain accurate records
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a fast-paced environment
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, and equipment
- Ability to create menus that cater to different dietary requirements or preferences
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
This is a part-time position with a salary of $1200 per month. Accommodation is not provided, but we are happy to assist with visa sponsorship for international candidates.
