Architectural Technologist

Our architectural firm in Braga is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Architectural Technologist to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with architects and engineers to develop design plans and technical drawings for various construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of building construction, excellent technical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with architects and engineers to develop design plans for residential, commercial, and industrial buildings
- Create detailed technical drawings using CAD software
- Conduct site visits to gather information and assess design feasibility
- Research building codes and regulations to ensure designs are compliant
- Communicate with clients to understand project requirements and make necessary revisions to designs
- Prepare cost estimates for materials and labor
- Work with contractors during the construction process to ensure designs are implemented accurately

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architectural Technology or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in architectural design or drafting
- Proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit)
- Strong understanding of building construction methods and materials
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment

This is a part-time position with the potential for full-time employment. We offer competitive salary packages starting at $1200 per month. Accommodation can also be provided for the right candidate.
