Smelter Operator

Our company in Mombasa is seeking a skilled Smelter Operator to join our team. As a Smelter Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the smelting equipment to melt and process various metals. Your role will involve monitoring the smelting process, adjusting settings as needed, and ensuring that the end product meets quality standards.

Responsibilities:
- Operate smelting equipment such as furnaces, kilns, and ovens
- Monitor temperature, pressure, and other factors during the smelting process
- Adjust settings and make necessary changes to ensure proper melting and processing of metals
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to keep it in good working condition
- Inspect finished products for quality and make any necessary adjustments
- Follow safety procedures and wear protective gear at all times
- Keep accurate records of production data and report any issues or concerns to supervisor

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification in metalworking preferred
- Proven experience as a Smelter Operator or similar role
- Knowledge of different metals and their melting points
- Familiarity with operating smelting equipment such as furnaces, kilns, and ovens
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical instructions
- Physical stamina to work in hot environments for extended periods of time
- Attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

Salary: $1100 per month (negotiable based on experience)

This position is suitable for men who are physically fit. English speaking candidates from Egypt or the Philippines are encouraged to apply. This is a full-time position, but part-time opportunities may be available.
