Office Manager for an African NGO in Mombasa
Our African NGO in Mombasa is seeking an organized and efficient Office Manager to join our team. As the Office Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our office and providing administrative support to our team. This is a full-time position that does not require previous experience or accommodation.
Responsibilities:
- Manage office supplies and equipment, including ordering and maintaining inventory
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and mail
- Maintain accurate records and files, both physical and electronic
- Coordinate appointments and meetings for staff members
- Assist with travel arrangements for staff members
- Prepare reports, presentations, and other documents as needed
- Oversee the maintenance of office facilities and equipment
- Handle any administrative tasks assigned by senior management
Requirements:
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in business administration or related field preferred
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Strong communication skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Salary: $1000 per month
Location: Mombasa (preference for African or Egyptian candidates)
