DevOps Developer

As a DevOps Developer, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between the development and operations teams, ensuring smooth and efficient deployment and maintenance of software systems. You will work closely with both teams to streamline processes and optimize performance, while also managing infrastructure and tools to support automation and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices. Your role will involve monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing solutions to improve reliability and scalability. With your experience in coding, scripting, and automation tools, you will help drive innovation and improve efficiency within our company. This is a full-time position based in Lisbon with a salary of 1100$, with visa sponsorship available.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a DevOps or similar role
- Strong knowledge of coding languages such as Python, Ruby, or Java
- Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet or Chef
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools such as Jenkins or GitLab
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Solid understanding of Linux operating systems
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues and implement effective solutions
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team

Preferred:

- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes
- Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) principles using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
- Understanding of agile methodologies and experience working in an agile environment
