Senior Architect - Almada


As a Senior Architect in our firm located in Almada, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing architectural projects from conception to completion. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide innovative design solutions that meet their requirements. Your role will involve collaborating with a team of architects and engineers to create detailed plans and oversee the construction process. You must have a deep understanding of architectural principles and possess strong project management skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all phases of architectural projects, from initial concept development to final construction
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs, goals, and budget constraints
- Develop detailed plans, blueprints, and specifications for projects
- Work closely with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure the successful execution of projects
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design plans
- Review drawings and documents for accuracy and completeness
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior architects

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
- Proven experience as an architect with at least 5 years in a senior role
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp or other design software
- Strong project management skills including budgeting, scheduling, and resource management
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:
- Registered Architect (RA) license preferred but not required
- Experience working on commercial or residential projects
- Knowledge of sustainable design practices
