Mason - Contract Position (Visa Sponsorship Available)

We are currently seeking a skilled Mason to join our team in Alta, Canada. In this contract position, you will be responsible for constructing and repairing structures using bricks, concrete blocks, and other materials. As a Mason, you must have a strong attention to detail and be able to work independently or as part of a team. You will also need to have physical stamina and be comfortable working at heights.

Responsibilities:
- Lay out walls, floors, and other structures using plumb bobs, levels, and measuring tapes
- Mix mortar or grout according to specifications
- Spread mortar between bricks or other materials using trowels
- Align brickwork or masonry with plumb lines or levels
- Cut or shape bricks using hammers or chisels
- Repair cracks or damage in existing masonry structures
- Clean excess mortar from surfaces after the completion of work

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Mason in the construction industry
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong knowledge of building codes and safety regulations
- Physical stamina and ability to work at heights
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1200 per week.
