Preservation Architect

We are seeking a Preservation Architect to join our team in Utena, Lithuania. The ideal candidate will have experience in preserving historic buildings and structures, as well as a strong understanding of architecture and design principles. This position requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research on historic buildings and structures to determine preservation needs
- Develop preservation plans and designs that adhere to local regulations and guidelines
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other professionals to ensure successful execution of preservation projects
- Monitor progress of preservation projects and make necessary adjustments as needed
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and timelines for preservation projects
- Maintain accurate records of project details, including drawings, specifications, and progress reports
- Stay updated on current preservation techniques and technologies
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in preservation architecture
- Strong knowledge of architectural history and styles
- Familiarity with building codes and regulations related to historic preservation
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or other design software
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
This is a full-time position with a salary of $1200 per month. Accommodation can be provided if needed. Applicants must have their own visa to work in Lithuania.
