A reputable construction company in Funchal, Portugal is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contract Fitter to join our team. As a Contract Fitter, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various fixtures and structures within our construction projects. This is a contract position with an attractive salary of 1100$ per week and includes accommodation.

Responsibilities:
- Install and fit various fixtures such as doors, windows, cabinets, and countertops according to construction plans
- Repair and replace damaged or faulty fixtures and structures
- Ensure all fittings meet safety standards and regulations
- Collaborate with contractors and other tradespeople to coordinate work schedules
- Keep accurate records of work completed and materials used
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Fitter in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of fitting techniques, tools, and materials used in the trade
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans
- Attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
- Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and work at heights if required
- Must have own basic tools

Preferred Qualifications:
- Trade certification or diploma in fitting or carpentry
- Experience working on commercial or large-scale residential projects
- Bilingual in English and Portuguese
