Instrument Technician
We are hiring an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Hawalli. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of instruments used in industrial operations. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in electronics and instrumentation, with the ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Install, calibrate, and maintain various types of instruments such as pressure gauges, flow meters, temperature sensors, and control valves.
- Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning instruments to ensure accurate readings and proper functioning.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and perform preventive maintenance tasks.
- Keep detailed records of all work performed on instruments including maintenance schedules and repairs.
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to optimize instrument performance.
- Stay updated with industry trends and technological advancements in instrumentation.
Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in instrumentation or related field.
- Proven experience as an Instrument Technician in an industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of electronics, electrical circuits, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with various types of instruments commonly used in industrial operations.
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
- Physical stamina to work on your feet for extended periods in various weather conditions.
